“This life is not an easy one. I’ve made enemies, powerful enemies. I’ve put people I love in danger, but the one thing that has haunted me my entire life is finding the truth about my parents..”
- The Amazing Spider-Man (2012)

Andrew Garfield Has Therapy Sessions

stonefield-emdrew-italia:

Spider-Man star Andrew Garfield has undergone therapy sessions to deal with his over-sensitive personality.
The actor confessed he suffered a panic attack after scooping a British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Award for Best Actor in 2007 for his role in Boy A because the triumph left him feeling empty.
And he’s revealed he has regularly undergone sessions with a therapist to talk about his emotions and understand his feelings.
Garfield tells GQ magazine, “That whole night was so shocking and scary. By the time I got home I started to have a panic attack… It was the result of pure adrenaline fall-off, and the realisation that although the success of the night had felt really nice, it was never ever going to satisfy me…
“Have I ever been to therapy? I don’t know if I’m comfortable talking about that… Yes, I have been to therapy. And I’m not ashamed of it. I’ve always been a little reserved about it, but I’ve loved it.”

“Being with Emma was just as fun as swinging through buildings, because it felt like the same amount of exhilaration.”

“i met her first at the screen test and i was like, ‘oh, man, if i have to spend six years of my life talking about one thing over and over again to camera crews and stuff, i hope it’s with this person. she’s incredibly sweet, funny, down to earth, genuine, doesn’t take herself seriously in any way shape or form. she has that in buckets.”
